S. Lee Ager earned a Master’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University. She has won many awards in juried shows, and her works has been featured in two television programs. Ager is a member of “Women Artists of the West.” Cliff Austin is a graduate of Denver Institute of Technology and the Rocky Mountain School of Art. He lives and has his studio in Aurora Colorado. He has been painting and illustrating since 1980 when he graduated from RMSA.  He has affiliation with many Colorado art organizations, such as the Pastel Society of Colorado, the Plein-Air Artists of Colorado (where he coordinates the Denver paint-out locations), the Oil Painters of America, and the American Impressionists Society.  His work can be seen at: Grand Lake Art Gallery, Grand Lake, Colorado; Colorado Mountain Art Gallery, Georgetown, Colorado; and Cornflower Boutique and Gallery, Frisco, Colorado. After many years working in the corporate field, from Ball Aerospace to Douglas Aircraft, the love of landscape painting has never diminished.  The core of Cliff’s art studies the relationship of light on shape, focusing on line and tone and color and how that relationship wraps and flows around the landscape and cityscape. He has won many awards in national shows around Colorado for his work in both oil and pastel.
Christina Blume, herbalist, has been teaching in the Denver area for the past 17 years at Denver Botanic Gardens, local colleges, garden centers and KMGH channel 7 and radio in Colorado and Arizona.
Tanis Bula, a native of Iowa, received her degree from Iowa State University. While working as a package designer at Hallmark Cards, Inc, she also studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. Since 1978 she has had a successful career as owner of an award-winning graphic design firm in Denver, CO. The demand for her paintings has escalated her career transition to fine artist.  She has enjoyed the privilege of painting in the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico and France. She has been shown in several galleries and exhibits in juried shows both internationally and nationally plus received national recognition in the watercolor magazine “Watercolor”. She is a signature member of the Rocky Mountain National Watercolor Society and the Colorado Watercolor Society. She has had one person shows at the Inverness Hotel for Mother’s Day since 2002, has taught since 2001 and has been selected as a judge for metro area art shows. A highlight of her career was when she was selected in 2002 for 3 consecutive years for individual shows in Tokyo, Japan.
Courtney Carlson received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis in 2003. She has a passion for shadows, a passion which began with the ESL cultural and political-shadow puppetry performances she helped create classes for at the Resource Center for the Americas in Minneapolis. She also volunteered with the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater in Minneapolis. She has extensive experience in a broad range of studio arts and a passion for collaboration. In her spare time, she enjoys a creative life with her husband, three daughters, and three goats in Conifer, Colorado. David P. Clark has been woodcarving now for 33 years, 17 of those professionally. He has a degree in Wood Technology from Pittsburg State in Kansas. The knowledge he gained there helps him understand why wood does what it does and together with his experience working with wood he has learned to work with it, not against it, to bring out its inherent strength and and ultimately its inner beauty. He has taught classes in Arkansas, Kansas and Colorado and love introducing people to the wood that he loves.
Jo Ann M. Colton is a local freelance newspaper/periodical/business writer for Canyon Courier, Mountain Connection, City & Mountain Views Magazine, and others. She has over 35 years of writing experience. She is also a marketer for small businesses and writers. The author of one fiction and four nonfiction books is a frequent facilitator of business and writing-related seminars/workshops. Colton is the founder of Foothills & Vicinity Writers Group (Evergreen), which is recognized by the National Writers Association. She has earned a BS in Business Management and has extensive business and marketing experience as a business owner as well as a manager in the private and public sectors. David Cuin is a watercolorist of the traditional, realist school incorporating the soft, atmospheric capabilities of the medium into his work while maintaining a crisp attention to detail. His technical background does nothing to inhibit his use of the unique qualities of watercolor to depict the dramatic effects of light on his subjects but profoundly informs his thorough understanding of the medium’s language. Self-taught and with 30 years of experience, he has studied with many watercolorists of international caliber. With paintings in private collections in the USA and Britain, his work has also been featured in Watercolor magazine and in the current North Light book The Artistic Touch 5. David has taught for local institutions for over 12 years and is a Signature Member of the Colorado Watercolor Society. He founded Evergreen’s Open Studio Tour. Cuin has also achieved success in the art of fused glass with a successful line of art glassware that has been available through Colorado galleries for over 13 years. His upcoming book, Take Control of Color, is due out next spring.
Sally Davidson-Marovich brings a wealth of experience to her classes.  Sally is a licensed art educator and working artist.  She is passionate about sharing her knowledge of art.Sally revels in encouraging her students to take risks and find their voice.  She guides their journey as they gain confidence and excitement about their art. Sally’s work is collected across the country.  See her work at Colorado Mountain Art Gallery in Georgetown and on the web at www.sallydavidsonarts.com Pem Dunn has lived and painted in Colorado since 1984 and maintains residences in Evergreen and Tabernash. His paintings are a clear reflection of his love of the out-of-doors. Hiking the backcountry trails of the Rocky Mountains provides much of his inspiration. Viewing Pem's work, one sees many familiar vistas of these areas in his oils. Pem is inspired by the constant changes in light and weather. This inspiration is evident in the light and subtle nuances of color that bring a great deal of richness to his work. Pem has studied with some of this country's finest artists including Joseph Dawley, Natalie Becker, Karen Vance and Scott Christensen.
Amanda Gordon Dunn is an artist based in Denver, Colorado. Jan Myers, a painter for over 40 years, travels throughout the Southwest and other regions photographing and sketching for several weeks at a time. “I’m not really an outdoor painter. Nature can be exciting – like a glorious sunset – but usually enhancement is needed. If I emphasize color and contrast, there’s an excitement the viewer feels. If I’m going for a more tranquil, healing, spiritual sort of landscape, the color choices are much different. It’s amazing how much I always need to simplify a scene, leaving a lot out, in order to convey a focused, powerful message; even if it is a peaceful message.” Jan holds a BFA from the University of Colorado and has been a signature member of the Pastel Society of America since 1993.
Judy Nakari is currently on the faculty of The Drawing Studio in Tucson, AZ, and teaching plein-air painting in both oil and watercolor, plus teaching portrait painting in watercolor.  Previously she has taught plein-air painting at The Desert Museum in Tucson and similar workshops in Tuscany, Italy (5 years).  She has participated in Denver Plein-Air and Fairplay Plein Air the past 3 years, is a signature member of 3 watercolor societies, and is a member of Oil Painters of America and of EAA. Growing up with a love of the outdoors, Melanie’s appreciation of nature began early with regular visits to her family-owned cabin in Montana. Along with traveling extensively for most of her life, Melanie appreciates the diversity of cultures and magnificent landscapes, both of which have influenced her art on many levels. Presently, Melanie finds herself focused as a fine artist working predominantly with oils and mixed media in the style of Contemporary Abstract. Most recently she was selected to exhibit in the International “Peace” Exhibition at the Nagasaki Art Museum in Nagasaki, Japan.

Her ceramic education has been self-directed, taking classes at community colleges and attending workshops including many two and three week workshops at Anderson Ranch Art Center.
