Manas Itene
Thursday, March 31, 2022

Manas Itene, world-renowned drummer and singer, has been traveling the world for 22 years with Michael Franti & Spearhead. He has played alongside some of the greats: Micky Hart of the Grateful Dead, Mickey Thomas of Jefferson Starship, Don Carlos, and Babatunde Olatunjii, to name a few. This intimate concert will be concluded with a communal drum circle, so feel free to bring your drums – even an upturned Home Depot bucket will do! Manas’ unique voice and live performance will be a night to remember.

Kayla Ruby
Friday, May 6, 2022

Meet Kayla Ruby, the emerging country star (and the Denver Broncos’ go-to anthem singer) taking the nation by storm. Born in Texas and raised in Colorado, Kayla has been rooted in and surrounded by country music her entire life. The 21-year-old powerhouse is accomplished beyond her years and she’s just getting started. She recently received a nomination for Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 RMCMAs. Whether she’s dropping jaws at sold-out shows or capturing the hearts of America with Twitter-breaking performances on national television, one thing is for certain: Kayla Ruby is one of country music’s up-and-coming stars.

The Turntable Revue
Friday, September 30, 2022

Join us as we welcome mountain apres-ski favorites, The Turntable Revue, back to the CAE gallery stage! Terry Armistead and her brother Joe Bianchi grew up with a folk singing, guitar playin’, beer-drinking father and a piano playin’, church singin’ mother with a voice like an angel. It was hard not to be influenced by their music as TV was nonexistent in the Vermont hills and playing guitars and singing was the activity every evening. Their Dad still claims that the Kingston Trio stole one of his songs back when he was opening for them in “the Village” in the ’60s. Expect to hear just about anything on a typical night; they’ve been known to throw down some Zeppelin and Emmylou Harris in the same set.

May be Fern, combining the musical talents and intelligence of its four members, creates a sound you will not forget. Kate Fern, with 12+ years of professional theater experience and a lifetime of exceptional vocal performance, plays bass guitar and is one of the two lead singers in May be Fern. Hannah May, a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and local professional musician, plays keyboard, guitar, and lead vocals. Carleen Jeffers, originally a classically trained upright bassist, uses their eclectic music taste and perfect ear as they rock the rhythm section of May be Fern. Madi Spillman, coming from a long line of extraordinary musicians of all flavors, plays left-handed lead/rhythm guitar and has an extensive resume in live music performance and has recorded a studio album with an artist from New York.

Together these four icons entertain, inspire, and offer a new and exciting sound to the music world. You won’t want to miss it.
