DESCRIPTION:Dates: June 1 – 5\nTime: 10 am – 4 pm (full day – bring a lunch)\nAge Group: Teens (13-18 years)\nSpaces Available: 0\nThis is not a classroom project — this is real public art. In this full-day mural camp, teens will collaborate to design and paint a large-scale mural on a shipping container at Buchanan Field, a highly visible backdrop for concerts and community events all summer long.\nArtists will work through the full mural process — scaling drawings, color planning, teamwork, and execution — gaining hands-on experience in large-scale painting and public art practices. The finished mural will be seen by thousands, making this an incredible opportunity for creative expression, portfolio building, and leaving a lasting mark on the community.\nPerfect for teens who want to paint big, work collaboratively, and create art that matters.\nThis camp is primarily outdoors.  Shade will be provided but students should arrive prepared for outdoor time with appropriate layers, sunscreen applied, sun hat, sunglasses, water bottle, and snacks.\nCAE Family Members save 10% (discount automatically applies after account login).
