Designed for complete beginners as well as artists looking to refresh or expand their skills, this class offers a gentle yet thorough introduction to the fundamentals of watercolor painting.\nEach session stands on its own as an introduction or refresher, and can also be paired with additional months for an ongoing, deepening learning experience.\nTogether, we will explore:\n\nEssential watercolor techniques and brushwork\nTools, materials, and the unique aesthetics of the medium\nBasic composition, value studies, and color theory—specifically tailored to watercolor\nMethods for painting a variety of subjects from life, including both organic and non-organic objects\n\nThe class is interactive and hands-on, with demonstrations and personalized instruction as you paint.
