Whether you’re new to sculpture or looking to expand your ceramic practice, this course offers a supportive space to experiment, build, and bring your ideas to life in three dimensions.\nStudents will be guided through the process of designing and constructing figurative or abstract sculptural forms, with an emphasis on structure, proportion, and personal expression. Along the way, you’ll learn how to work with clay at different stages, safely build and hollow forms, and explore a range of finishing techniques—including both traditional glazing and alternative surface treatments.\nThrough demos, guided instruction, and open studio time, students will develop both technical skills and their own creative voice.\nAll studio tools are provided. Please bring a sketchbook or project journal, apron, and hand towels.
