We’ll focus on building a strong composition while exploring color, pattern, and texture to bring the tree to life.\nStudents will be guided step-by-step while also having the freedom to design their own ornaments, choose colors, and add personal touches like gifts, lights, and snowy details.\nIn addition, students will paint and sculpt real ornaments they can take home and hang on a tree or gift to someone special.\nStudents will:\n• Learn basic painting techniques (layering, brushwork, color mixing)\n• Explore color, pattern, and festive design\n• Practice composition using a central subject (the tree)\n• Paint and sculpt their own ornaments\nThey will walk away with:\n• One completed Christmas tree painting ready to display\n• One or more hand-painted ornaments\n• One or more sculpted ornaments\nWhat to bring:\n• Clothes that can get messy\n• Water bottle/snack\n
