Lend a Hand
Center for the Arts wouldn’t be where it is today without the help of our volunteers. We need a hand with exhibitions, special events, festivals, classrooms, and administrative positions. We’re always looking for creative volunteers to join our growing team!
• Visitor relations
• Answer phone calls
• Gallery sales
• Administrative projects
• Volunteers are always needed for this position but regular volunteers (who learn the routine of the Center help the most) would be best.
• Wall patching and painting
• Hanging 2D works
• Move pedestals
• Volunteer at gallery openings
• Set up / Clean up room
• Assist the instructor
• Update social media (facebook, twitter, Instagram)
• Class and event postings
• Festival postings
Festivals:
• Parking
• Booth sitting
• Welcome areas
• Children craft areas
• Trash duty
• And more!
General Volunteers
• Be on call for general volunteer needs.
• Stuff envelopes
• Help with special events
• Pug clay
Building Maintenance:
• Landscaping
• Help plant flowers
• Exterior painting
• Raking pine needles, etc…
Posters:
• Hang event posters around Evergreen and the adjoining area
CAE Ambassadors
• Go out into the community at events where CAE has a presence and tell our story
• Write an article
