Instructor: Sunny Monaco
Bring images of an artist that inspires you and that you would like to translate into a sculptural piece. Turn that amazing Matisse or Picasso painting into a cup, vase or teapot! It could be a painting you turn into a figurative sculpture. The first 2 weeks of this class will be dedicated to learning several techniques of hand building and or wheel throwing pieces that could be cut and assembled into your sculpture. We will be giving these pieces a week to dry fully and then will be glazing them. Class critique and potluck will follow.
MILLER HOUSE, which is next door to Buchanan Rec Center.
