Managed and taught by the staff and teachers of Alliance Française Denver.

Designed for students who have completed A1.1 level (101) or ‘false beginners,’ (those who have taken French before but believe they have forgotten everything). This class emphasizes basic conversational skills. After having successfully completed French A1.2, you will be able to ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things you own. You will be able to describe or make simple requests and invitations, understand date and time, and explain basic hopes and opinions.

About the instructor: Muriel Bortels

Muriel  has been in contact with languages from a young age, as a daughter of a teacher. She acquired a Master in Social Communication at IHECS in Brussels, is fluent in Dutch and English and speaks some German. She arrived in Colorado in 2012 and has been with the AFD since 2016.
