10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Center for the Arts Evergreen just closed out their 3rd successful Rocky Mountain National Watermedia exhibition. Examples of watermedia in the exhibition included: watercolor and acrylic, but also egg tempera, casein, and gouache. Examples of substrates in the exhibition included: traditional watercolor paper, polypropylene, board, and canvas. Local Artist and RMNW participant, Cathy Jones will lead a one-day workshop teaching students the techniques of these mediums on watercolor paper. Students will then explore the potentials of the different watermedia in their own work to bring away a painting that they will be proud to hang in their home.
