Students will explore color theory and how incorporating the ideas of color theory can help to make you a better artist and your paintings more rich and aesthetically harmonious. By utilizing the color wheel, the artists will learn how to use primary, secondary, and tertiary colors to explore the relationship between certain colors and how to use color combinations to evoke emotion and viewer response. Artists will use the techniques learned in class to create a self-portrait and a landscape painting, as well as several small paintings that demonstrate different techniques. Please dress ready to paint.  Supplies are included.
