This ALL LEVELS class will introduce students to all things clay!  Our instructor Tanya Keith will walk students through the different clay bodies, stages of clay, and the many hand-building techniques that you can use to bring your project ideas to life!  All materials and equipment are provided. Ages 16+ and all skill levels are welcome! Please bring your project ideas, aprons, and hand towels.

Week 1 – Intro, studio tour, class demos – discussion of what pieces you wish to create, project planning – begin to make pieces
Week 2 – Making, finishing, & surface treatments
Week 3 – Making, finishing, & surface treatments and prepping pieces to dry
Week 4 – Finish any pieces- Bisque firing
Week 5 – Glazing all pieces – Glaze firing
Week 6 – Unload kiln- class discussion and critique of work- pick up work
