Tween/Teen Technique: Stagecraft Prop Making – The Addam’s Family

Ages 11-18
Sept 6 – Sept 27 (4 Tuesdays)
4 pm – 6 pm
Instructor: Krista Hines
Minimum 4/Maximum 12 students
$98 CAE members / $112 non-member (all supplies included)

This class offers a look into stagecraft and the art of prop-making for children’s theater! We’ve teamed up with The Venue Theater in Conifer to create an array of creepy props for their upcoming Addam’s Family production. Students will start from a drawing or an image and progress to a completed object using different materials, techniques, and methodology. Using various types of foam, cardboard, fabric, and paint, students will create props such as a giant chalice, a jet-powered backpack, a puppet rat, an iguanodon and so many more! Class tuition also includes one ticket to a production of The Addam’s Family production so our students can see their props in action! The class will be taught by longtime art teacher, Krista Hines. Don’t miss out!
