Want to spend your summer making art and making a difference? 💚

CAE is looking for assistants (ideally high school age and up) to help out with our summer camps! If you'd love working with kids while getting creative and messy alongside a stellar team of teaching artists, we’d love to have you join us for a week or more.

Whether you’re looking to fulfill volunteer hours or just want to share some joy, this is a fun and meaningful way to be involved.

For the closing reception of our Oh, The Places You’ll Go exhibit, we’ve invited Ryan Warner, Senior Host of CPR’s Colorado Matters, to kick things off with a live reading of the book that inspired the show.

Ryan will open the afternoon with the reading, followed by a fun and insightful Q&A with many of the participating artists.

Bring a friend for a girl’s night. Plan a day date. Or come solo and claim a creative moment just for you. Every session is led by a talented instructor and includes everything you need, 2 drinks (wine, beer, or mimosas depending on the session).

We’re honored to be hosting a special watercolor workshop with this year’s juror for the 53rd Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibition, Keiko Tanabe (@keikotanabewatercolor), at CAE this fall.

Landscapes in Watercolor: From Structure to Expression
September 11–12 | 9 AM – 4 PM

This two-day immersive experience explores how to move from strong structure to expressive, atmospheric landscapes. Through live demonstrations and guided instruction, artists will learn how to simplify complex scenes, design with intention, and infuse their paintings with light, mood, and emotion.

Ideal for intermediate to advanced watercolor artists ready to deepen their voice and refine their technique. Space is limited and seats are filling quickly - register today!

Want to join us for a free guided walking tour of sculptures placed throughout town. 👣✨

Most tours begin at Center for the Arts Evergreen at 10:30 AM, then head out together to explore a featured location. Each month’s tour visits a different area, offering a new way to experience the exhibit and the artists behind it.

✔ No RSVP needed
✔ All ages welcome
✔ Walking required (approx. 1 hour)
✔ Learn about the sculptures and their creators

🔥🎨 Fired Up! Kids Fused Glass 🎨🔥
A monthly workshop just for kids ages 7+

Each month features a new, playful project while students learn the basics of glass cutting, layering, and design in a safe, supportive studio.
