Most importantly, this is a chance for us to hear from you. We’d love your feedback, ideas, and hopes for what you’d like to see happen at CAE in the year ahead.

Tomorrow is the FINAL day to experience Oh, The Places You’ll Go!✨and this show has been such a joy to have in the gallery. The energy in the room is truly something special.

To celebrate the closing, we’re excited to welcome Ryan Warner, Senior Host of Colorado Matters on CPR, who will open the afternoon with a live reading of the book that inspired the exhibit.

Ryan will kick things off with the reading, followed by a lively and insightful Q&A with many of the participating artists.

Last call to carve your own charm!

Tomorrow night is the final workshop in Dante Perozzi’s Carve Your Own Charm series, and a few spots just opened up. If you’ve been curious about jewelry making, this is your chance to jump in.

Spend the evening learning the art of wax carving, shaping a charm inspired by your travels, think: mountains, waves, compasses, or any symbol that holds meaning for you. Dante will guide you through the process, and your design will be professionally cast into a beautiful metal charm you can wear with pride.

Bring a friend or bring your teen (16+) and try something new, and leave with a tiny piece of art that tells a story.

Grab one of the last spots before they’re gone.

In the first session of Abstract Art with Gail Wag

In the first session of Abstract Art with Gail Wager, students were invited to do something that can be surprisingly hard… let go of structure and explore freely.

A few admitted they’re a little on the Type A side, and releasing control didn’t come easily at first. But something beautiful started to happen as the afternoon went on.

By the end of class, the room was buzzing with laughter, color, and pieces that came straight from the heart. 🎨

That’s the magic of Gail’s class… learning the principles of design while also giving yourself permission to play, experiment, and discover what feels uniquely you.

Join us for the Opening Reception of the 22nd Annu

Join us for the Opening Reception of the 22nd Annual Mile High International Pastel Exhibition on Friday, March 20 from 6–8 pm.

This exhibition celebrates the versatility, vibrance, and luminous beauty of soft pastel, featuring 96 paintings by artists from across the United States and Japan. From sweeping landscapes to intimate portraits, the show highlights the incredible range of what this medium can do.

This year’s exhibition is juried by Chicago-based artist Susan Kuznitsky and will be presented at CAE for the first time.

Come meet participating artists, enjoy drinks and light snacks, and hear insights into their work and creative process.

All are welcome.
