Our Artist-in-Residence, Nadia Younes, was recentl Our Artist-in-Residence, Nadia Younes, was recently featured in Colorado Serenity Magazine.

The article highlights her powerful use of imagery to question what feels fixed, gently inviting us to slow down and really see what’s around us.

✨ Want to experience it in person?

Nadia will be hosting an Open Studio tomorrow (Thursday) from 2–4 PM. It’s a beautiful opportunity to step into her process, see the work she’s created during her time at CAE, and connect with the artist behind it all.

Come by, say hello!

Sara Brady

Sara is was one of our beginner students in our last Intro to Wheel Class on Friday. These were some of her first pots. Look at those stunning colors! She threw the pots on the wheel and then combined different dipping and brushing glazes to create a green/blueish flowy look.

She applied 3 layers of Honey Flux, then dipped one side of the pot in our Bermuda dipping glaze for a couple seconds!

Clay: CAE’s Studio Stoneware
Glazes: Amaco’s Honey Flux, CAE’s Bermuda
Ever wondered how fused glass works? ✨ It starts Ever wondered how fused glass works? ✨

It starts with pieces of glass, cut, layered, and arranged into a design. Then it’s placed in a kiln, where high heat melts everything together into one smooth, finished piece. What comes out is always a little bit magical.

If you’ve been curious to try it, we’ve got a few ways to jump in:
