Ages 16+
This class is designed for beginners and for those who want to learn basic ceramics techniques and throwing skills. The focus of this course will be placed on centering, opening, pulling and shaping pieces thrown on the potter’s wheel. Students will strengthen their wheel skills with guidance from the instructor on how to throw, thrim, and glaze pieces. Students should wear clothes to get messy (and potentially stain!), bring an apron, towel, and a sketchbook for ideas.
