Flash Tattoo Event: Thursday, September 3 | 10 AM–4 PM

CAE presents Permanent Impressions, an exhibition featuring artwork by talented tattoo artists whose creative practices extend beyond the tattoo studio. While these artists are known for transforming the human body into a living canvas, this exhibition offers a rare opportunity to experience their artistic voices through paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, and mixed-media works.

The exhibition highlights the artistic vision, technical skill, and storytelling that connect tattooing to contemporary art, inviting visitors to discover the creative process behind some of Colorado’s most accomplished tattoo artists.

Featured artists include Melis Fusco, Milo Alfring, Brian Henry, Sharon Healy, Cody Awn, Matthew Renner, and Desiree Mattivi-Ross.

Join us for the Opening Reception on Thursday, August 20 from 4–8 PM to meet the artists, enjoy light appetizers and drinks, and be among the first to experience the exhibition. Then, on Thursday, September 3 from 10 AM–4 PM, don’t miss a special Flash Tattoo Event, where participating artists will be offering flash tattoos at Center for the Arts Evergreen.
