I have been drawing, painting or teaching art since taking lessons with my grandmother as a teenager in Buffalo, NY. I moved to the Fort Lauderdale area where I earned a BFA from Florida Atlantic University and lived in South Florida for 40ish years but have recently moved to Colorado and am thoroughly enjoying and embracing the amazing Rocky Mountains!

My primary medium is acrylic though I experiment with oil, pastel, watercolor, pencil and collage, sometimes combining two or more in a work. I love texture and frequently add multiple layers of thick paint or fiber paste to create dimension and interest.
