In this guided workshop, you’ll step into Claude Monet’s tranquil garden at Giverny and recreate one of his most beloved masterpieces — Bridge over a pond of water lilies. Immerse yourself in the soft reflections, rippling water, and luminous colors that define Monet’s Impressionist vision.
Working on a pre-sketched canvas, you’ll focus on expressive brushwork, gentle color transitions, and the play of light and reflection across the pond’s surface. Artist and instructor Jessica Mahan will guide you through each step, from building up shimmering layers of paint to capturing the dreamy atmosphere that made Monet’s garden world-famous.
This class is perfect for beginners and experienced painters alike. It’s a relaxed, inspiring space to unwind, experiment, and discover your own Impressionist style.
All materials are provided. No drawing or experience necessary–canvases are pre-sketched! Just bring your creativity, and let the colors of nature and light transport you to Monet’s peaceful lily pond in bloom.

Jessica MahanJessica Mahan is a professional acrylic and oil painter and an art teacher with a degree in Art Education and Secondary Education. She previously taught art in the public school system for 7 years, has been a professional artist for 8 years and loves sharing her love of art with others through classes, workshops, retreats and paint at home kits. Her art practice helps her slow down and notice the world around her by examining shapes, colors, movement rhythms and light. She often uses symbolism and thinks of her work as visual poetry. Outside of art, she loves travel, yoga, nature, music and hanging out with her dog.
