“I love art! It makes my brain happy! I can paint for hours and hours and not even realize the time. I believe art is beyond entertainment. It is a gift that stimulates our senses, causes us to look at the world differently, builds friendships and enriches our lives and our communities. I love teaching art. I want everyone’s brains to be happy.”

Brenda Wyman is an Evergreen, Colorado artist. After spending time in the “real world” raising four daughters and working as a nurse she now gets to spend time in the “dream world” painting and teaching art. Her art has been described as “seriously whimsical” because she often paints fun objects in serious style.

After taking art classes in college she almost changed her major to art, but her practical side won out and she obtained her nursing degree from the University of Utah.

She has taken classes at the University of Utah, Art Students League of Denver and has enrolled in numerous classes wherever she has resided. She has studied with some wonderful teachers such as Pem Dunn and Susan Jarvis.
