In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore the creative crossover between printmaking and clay through monoprinting techniques. Using slips, underglazes, and simple tools, you’ll learn how to layer color, build texture, and transfer imagery onto leather-hard clay. Expect a mix of guided demos and open experimentation as you create printed slabs or small forms to take further in your own practice.

    Hannah Lim

    Hannah Lim is a Korean-American ceramic artist and dedicated studio manager with a passion for making the arts accessible, inclusive, and ever-evolving. With a B.A. in Ceramic Design and Art History from the University of Northern Colorado, Hannah has worked in the art world for studio potters like Liz Cohen Ceramics and institutions like the Clyfford Still Museum. In 2021, she set up her own studio, and now is expanding her skills at the CAE! Hannah is always exploring new mediums and approaches to learning and teaching, believing in the power of art to connect and inspire.
