EXHIBITION: Art on the Menu

Food is memory. Food is identity. Food is, occasionally, a banana duct-taped to a wall. Art on the Menu, opening at Center for the Arts Evergreen on June 11, brings together more than 30 Colorado artists to explore everything we eat as sustenance, symbol, and story. Through oil-painted still lifes, ceramics, and everything in between, everyday ingredients and shared meals are transformed into something genuinely worth gathering around.
Celebrate the opening at an artfully catered reception on Thursday, June 11 from 4 to 7 pm. The exhibition continues through July 18, and thanks to the generous support of SCFD, The Hummingbird Club, and PandoraJohn Properties, both the reception and the full exhibition are free and open to all. Come hungry. For the art, at least.
