Nature’s Palette
Dates: June 15 – 19
Time: 9 am – 12 pm
Age Group: Littles (5-9 years)
Spaces Available: 9
In Nature’s Palette, young artists explore the outdoors to discover the colors and textures found in nature. Through guided nature walks, children observe leaves, bark, stones, and soil, noticing how each looks and feels. Back in the art space, campers create artwork using earthy paint colors, texture rubbings, and nature-inspired collages.
The focus is on sensory exploration, creativity, and self-expression rather than finished products. This camp encourages curiosity, fine-motor development, and a deeper connection to the natural world in a calm, joyful setting.
This camp is primarily outdoors. Students will go outdoors weather permitting. Students should arrive prepared for Colorado mountain weather with appropriate layers, sunscreen applied, sun hat, sunglasses, water bottle, and snacks.
