Teen Wheel

Dates: June 16, 18, 23 & 25 (Tues/Thurs)

In Teen Wheel, teens learn the fundamentals of working on the potter’s wheel with our Studio Manager, Hannah. Campers will practice centering, pulling, and trimming clay to create small bowls, cups, or trinket dishes.

Students will also learn glazing and finishing techniques so their pieces are both beautiful and food-safe. This camp is hands-on ceramics; no prior wheel experience is required.

    Hannah Lim

    Hannah Lim is a Korean-American ceramic artist and dedicated studio manager with a passion for making the arts accessible, inclusive, and ever-evolving. With a B.A. in Ceramic Design and Art History from the University of Northern Colorado, Hannah has worked in the art world for studio potters like Liz Cohen Ceramics and institutions like the Clyfford Still Museum. In 2021, she set up her own studio, and now is expanding her skills at the CAE! Hannah is always exploring new mediums and approaches to learning and teaching, believing in the power of art to connect and inspire.
