Sara comes to CAE with more than 20 years of marketing, fundraising, and program experience in the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. The beginnings of Sara’s professional career were with a major arts organization in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She spent ten years writing about and marketing Evergreen’s visual arts community with a weekly arts column in the local newspaper, the Canyon Courier. Throughout her career, Sara has been fortunate to work as an outsourced marketing/development/program professional for arts/culture/human services organizations throughout Colorado including: Goodwill Industries of Denver, the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Colorado, StageDoor Theatre, Bluff Lake Nature Center, and the Rocky Mountain Research and Prevention Institute. Most recently, Sara was on staff as the Director of Marketing and Development for Dinosaur Ridge in Morrison, CO. Sara’s background has consistently been defined by her steadfast dedication to achieving organizational growth objectives in a fiscally-responsible way, and managing and implementing programs with innovative and fun strategies. Sara is excited to help CAE expand its reach to new and more diverse audiences, and to elevate its position within the philanthropic and arts sectors in Colorado. Sara has lived in Evergreen for more than 16 years with her husband and their two sons.
