Chris is a graduate from the University of Missouri with degrees in Speech Communication and Art History. After spending 13 years in the banking industry Chris switched his career to the arts in 2011 to become Manager of the Office of Cultural Affairs for the city of Columbia, Missouri. In addition, he and his wife Jennifer Perlow owned PS:Gallery located in downtown Columbia for ten years. In 2013, the family moved to Denver so that his daughter, Charlie, could attend the Denver School of the Arts. Before coming to CAE, Chris served two years as the Manager for the Art and Culture Program at Denver International Airport and eight years as the Cultural Arts Manager for the City of Greenwood Village. In addition to over 20 years of developing visual arts exhibits and public art projects, Chris has served on numerous art juries including the Cherry Creek Art Festival, Austin International Airport Public Art Panel, Cheyenne True West Art Show and the Missouri Arts Council Grant Review Panel. In his free time, Chris and his wife enjoy exploring art galleries and hiking in the woods.
