EXHIBITION OPENING: 100 for $200 Fundraiser
Public Opening Reception: Thursday, July 30 from 4 – 7 pm
Ticketed Selection Event: Friday, August 14 from 5 – 8 pm
What is 100 for $200?
One of our favorite events of the year, 100 for $200 features donated works from local artists. 100 works of art in a variety of mediums are collected and exhibited in early August. On August 14, the night of the event, ticket holders peruse the gallery, making note of artworks that excite them. When their number is drawn, they’ll get to choose from the pieces still available to take home.
Why is it no longer 130 for $130?
Over the years, as more and more pieces were added, the exhibition began to take on a salon-style feel: lots of work, all at once. While that approach has its place, this year we’re shifting toward a more intentional, museum-style experience. We’re featuring fewer pieces (100) so each artwork and each artist has a bit more space to stand out and be truly seen. We’ll still have a lively gallery with room to gather and celebrate in the center, but the overall experience will feel more focused, with artwork that has even greater presence and impact and reflects the time, scale, and creativity behind each piece.
What is the First Pick Drawing?
Each year at the beginning of the selection event, we hold a drawing for the First Pick. Drawing tickets are available to purchase in advance below, or in person the night of the selection event. You may purchase multiple First Pick chances. Each ticket is $30 OR purchase 4 for $100. If your ticket is randomly selected from the bowl, you will receive First Pick of any piece in the gallery on Friday, August 14! The drawing for First Pick will take place promptly at 6:05 pm. All attendees are eligible to participate. FIRST PICK DRAWING TICKETS ARE IN ADDITION TO SELECTION EVENT TICKETS.
