Once a formal fundraiser, CAE’s Day of the Arts has evolved into a FREE, all-ages community event celebrating the diverse artistry and art forms practiced in our mountain area community. Join us for a day of live on-stage performances from local nonprofit performing arts organizations, shopping at our artisan makers market, food and drink, kids’ crafts and activities, and our first-ever Battle of the Bands competition, concluding with a free concert by May Be Fern.

Day of the Arts is also an opportunity to honor and celebrate our Arts Person of the Year, Chris Krieg! You can learn more about Chris and his many contributions to the arts in our community on his website, altitudemurals.com.

CAE is thrilled to partner with local band May Be Fern for a Battle of the Bands at our annual Day of the Arts!

The winner will receive a PRIZE OF $500.00 as well as a performance slot on the main stage at Center for the Arts Evergreen’s annual Summerfest on July 30, 2023 in Evergreen, CO.

Selected bands will compete at Day of the Arts on Saturday, June 3rd and a winner will be announced the same evening. Each band chosen to compete will be given a 12-minute limit.
