We’re thrilled to offer a once-in-a-lifetime workshop with Stephanie and Ken Goldman on Wednesday, August 2. Take your watermedia (or other art skills) to the next level. The Goldmans are both award-winning artists AND renowned teachers, guides, and coaches for artists of all levels. Why not combine the mastery of both Ken and Stephanie into a one-day highly personalized experience? The workshop has been designed to “meet you where you are” on your artistic journey. Are you stuck on a particular piece? Are you looking for a new technique or skill to take your work to the next level? Are you longing for a portfolio review? This workshop is designed for artists who work in all media because Ken and Stephanie’s mastery goes well beyond watercolor. As originally promised, this hands-on workshop will delve into values, drawing skills, and cross-hatching as ways to bring your work to life. But…it will be so much more. Spend the day with two masters of their craft who will personally guide you through tips, critiques, and skills to take your work to the next level. There will be planned lessons and the space to explore one-on-one with the Goldmans. And you can’t beat the price of $119 for CAE members and $132 for non-members for a full day of personalized art!

This workshop will offer demos to bring your artwork to life, hands-on skills that the Goldmans have perfected that you can try, AND so much more with the Goldman’s personalized approach to your individual needs! Small class, time spent on your personal piece or body of work.

– Bring your favorite photos of flora, fauna, wildlife, or landscape and start a new piece under the tutelage of the Goldmans.

– Engage in a portfolio review or critique of your work

– Stephanie can also help you create small jewel-like paintings with three mechanical pencils, ink, a kneaded eraser, brushes, and white gouache on toned paper.

– Ken can guide you in understanding how pencil-stroke directions turn flat 2-d shapes into convincing 3-d volumetric forms
