Celebrating its 51st year, the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia (RMNW) exhibition attracts entrants from throughout the US and is regarded as one of the top watermedia exhibitions in the country. RMNW submissions range from highly articulated realism to whimsical abstraction and the exhibit traditionally offers more than $10,000 in awards. This year, acclaimed watercolorist Mary Whyte (https://www.marywhyte.com/) has juried in 48 exceptional works from nearly 500 submissions, representing artists from 35 states.
Please join us as the award-winning pieces are revealed at the public opening reception on Thursday, September 19 from 4-7 pm at Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE). Drinks and light fare will be offered. Mary Whyte will be joining us at the opening to provide critique of her selections as prizes are awarded beginning at 6 pm. CAE will also be hosting additional events, including a free in-person artist talk with Mary on Wednesday, September 18 at 4:30 pm. Please visit our website for details.
