Picasso’s Blue Nude
Dive into the world of Picasso’s emotional and expressive Blue Nude in this hands-on workshop! You’ll explore the elegance and simplicity of this iconic piece from Picasso’s Blue Period, while learning techniques for capturing form, shading, and interesting textures. In this guided class, you’ll work on a pre-sketched canvas, allowing you to focus fully on the painting process instead of drawing. Led by Jessica Mahan, you’ll be guided through the steps of recreating the graceful curves of the figure, the flowing lines, and the soothing monochromatic blues that define the piece. Whether you’re new to painting or a seasoned artist, this class offers a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all skill levels.
