Want to learn to paint with oils? Are you a beginning oil painter who wants to build on your skills? Has it been a while since you have painted and want to get back into oil painting? Then, this is the class for you! Students will learn basic art concepts and painting techniques as we get those brushes moving! This class is open to students who are brand new to oil painting or have previously taken beginner classes and are looking to gain more knowledge and skills.
On the first day of class, we will discuss supplies, setting up your palette, a quick guide to color mixing, how to pick a reference and start a painting. During this introductory class, Brenda will guide you through the materials you’ll need for the first day of painting. If you have already taken the class and do not need this discussion on supplies, please be ready to jump right in and start painting!
Let’s have fun painting together!
