Hike / Bike / Ski: Living in Motion

For some, the essence of Colorado is outdoor activity. From outdoor adventure art showing the wildest places where we play, to art on skis, bikes, or the gear that makes us go, Hike/Bike/Ski: Living in Motion brings our outdoor lives indoors through art. The Center for the Arts Evergreen (CAE) gallery will be transformed into an indoor playground of art, adventure, and adrenaline. We received a wide variety of submissions for this open-call exhibition, ranging from 2D to 3D, and realism to abstraction. Juried by the CAE Curatorial Committee, cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 selections.

You’re invited to join us on Thursday, July 13 from 4 – 7 pm at CAE for the public opening reception and awards presentation for Hike/Bike/Ski: Living in Motion. Enjoy complimentary light appetizers, with wine and beer available for a donation, while exchanging views on the best trails and runs – and the art they’ve inspired – in this glorious state we get to call home. Hike/Bike/Ski: Living in Motion runs July 13 – August 19 and is free to the public thanks in part to the SCFD, Colorado Creative Industries, Pandora John Properties, and Team Evergreen Cycling.
