This class is for you if you’re ready to learn some new techniques and take your pottery practice to the next level. Join Gita if you are curious about altered forms, attachments such as spouts and handles, double-walled forms, lidded jars, closed forms, alternative decorative techniques or if you want to focus on refining your work in general. Ideas are welcome so make sure to bring those along questions you may have about the ceramic process and prepare to get muddy. Tools, clay and glaze will be provided but if you happen to have any personal tools, bring those along as well. Students will need to provide their own apron and throwing towels.

Prerequisite: students must be able to center at least 3lbs of clay.
