 Overview:
Embark on a creative journey into the wild! In this 5-day Safari Adventure Art Workshop, young explorers will dive into the magical world of African jungle and safari animals, from elephants to exotic birds. Through fun and engaging art activities, kids will have the chance to learn about the unique creatures of the rainforest, savanna, and grasslands, all while creating their very own masterpieces! Each day, they will explore a new theme, using drawing, painting, crafting, and sculpture to bring these amazing animals and their habitats to life. Along the way, they’ll hear fascinating stories and see photos from real-life safaris in Kenya and Tanzania, shared by their instructor, Jessica Mahan, who has traveled deep into Africa.

 What to Expect:
Throughout the week, kids will:

• Create their own safari-inspired artwork with a variety of materials, including paints, markers, clay, and natural elements.
• Design and decorate animal masks, featuring creatures like lions, leopards, and birds of paradise.
• Craft safari hats to wear as they “travel” through their art safari.
• Use vibrant watercolors and acrylics to paint lush rainforest and jungle scenes with animals like sloths, toucans, and jaguars.
• Sculpt wild animals like leopards, tigers, and lions using clay and mixed media.
• Design vibrant bird mobiles and create colorful artwork inspired by birds of paradise and other tropical birds.
• Learn fun facts about the animals they’re creating, deepening their understanding of wildlife and conservation through art.
